im putting in oz matrix elites in my doors, problem is that my doors are around 2.5" depth max and the elites are either 3 or 3 1/4. Ok, so i get some kind of spacer or make one out of mdf material. But i want to make this look as stock as possible. I have a honda civic 95' dx with no pwr winows. i have the speaker grills that you can take out from the seat. i was thinking if i just raise the whole door panel by some or just... i draw a blank.

I crammed some 6.5's in my doors (5.25" stock). I had to mount the speakers to the door panel itself. maybe something like that would work?
