what to do with problems with an ebay seller

Hey guys, I sold me first thing on ebay on jan 15. It was a pair of infinity 6953i 6x9 speakers.

Well, it ended on jan 20 and the guy said on the 20th that he would pay me by money order in the mail. Feb 2 comes along and still no payment. I decided to email him:

Dear neto2003,

 

I am just checking to see if you sent the payment for the infinity speakers. I haven't got it them yet so I am assuming you didn't. If you haven't problems paying, tell me. I just want to know what's going on. Milton

He responds with this on Feb 2:

Yes I did send the payment last week, let me know later on today, if not I will check in the post office.

Now it is Feb 6 and still no payment recieved and I getting an email from ebay saying that I owe them 2.82 (seller fee) and they will take it from my credit card. So now I emailed him today telling him I will have to report him tonight if I don't get the money order today. It seems like he doesn't care either since the auction ended 2 week ago and he doesn't seem to care to email me about whether or not I recieved the money order. The auction ended like 2 weeks ago and I am starting to get impatient.

Should I report him?

You gotta report him! He has 10 days to do something, at least contact you. I would get the ball rolling with ebay!

hell yeah report him; why should it be your fault to pay the seller fee if you ain't sold nothing yet? If he contests it and what not, then yall got some business. I don't see any business going on at this point.

I see he is not a seller but only a buyer so he knows how it

works. I would just get with e-bay to put it back up and leave the guy neg feedback.

Sorry, I went to the post office and I need to wait 2 months to cancel the money order, and I don't wanna buy another one and wait more 2 months to get my money back, I'm just too busy those days, I don't have time to check my email every day.You know about my feedback! Call me a sucker but I feel bad for him. I still reported him but I put it for reason that it was mutually agreed. So now I will be getting my credit back and I sent in a second chance bid to the bidder below him. I don't want to leave negative feedback for him because he will leave it for me.

I'm sorry, but money sent through the mail should ALWAYS be sent certified, express whatever the hell the system is. I will only send a money order with an assuarance it will arrive within a given timeframe.

That's the way I send my money orders. I mean it does cost a little more that way you can be certain it's gets to where it is going.
