Well I have a brand new AA Assassin I have had sitting in my closent for a few months now. I have no way to build a box and don't have the money to have a custom ported truck box built for it.
So my truck Still has no subs after2 years. I put about $350 in sound deadening in and all 0ga wires etc, for no reason 2 years ago. Very frustrating believe me! I just can't see spending about $500-600 on a box for a $90 sub. I don't have the tools to make one myself, and I don't have a place to store the tools if I were to buy them (which I would not mind doing). I rent a room, not even an apartment...
So anyways I decided to go with a Ported, Loaded, Probox instead (coming out soon). My amp should power it but has no sub sonic filter... It is ONLY going to be sold with the Sub installed (it was built around their sub). They are also making a dual 10" downfire sealed box for my truck, but they said when they tested both boxes the ported one sounds better and gets louder with less power.
The Titan KC has very limited space under the seats and it would be pretty difficult to make a box to angle the 10" sub just right so that it fits.
So what should I do with my AA Assassin? Should I even bother trying to fit it in their ported box (pull the sub it comes with out) or should I just sell it at a loss? I don't know if it will even fit anyways because of the mounting depth of the Assassin.
