I have rear (blown) 4x10s in my tahoe. I have 6.5 jbl gtos in the front and putting a ported 12" cvr in the trunk. Becasue its a large truck and I care about my rear passengers I want rear fill. I found an adapter to put 6x9s in the 4x10 spot has anyone used one of these? Any suggestions as to what I should do for my rear fill. I dont plan on amping my speakers and im using a 60x4 watt pioneer head.

I would not go through all of the trouble for rear fill off of the deck. Just get some more 4x10s or better yet get the 6x9 bracket and put them in.

Not sure what you would gain going with a 4" speaker or going through the trouble of building pods?

Just dampen the area and mount the speakers and enjoy!

Well the 6x9 idea seems good but i just cant see my self spending $20 to get an adapter that I dont even know will work well thats why trying to see if anyone has used one...
