What to do about broken VC (I think that's what is)

While I was tryin to re-wire my Diamond sub and install it back in it's enclosure, I broke off one of the four VC's (I THINK that's the term, it's one of the four places you put the speaker wire into)

I've contacted Diamond about it and have heard nothing back, is there anything I can do to fix it???

I dont think you mean the voice coil, seems like you are referring to the speaker wire terminals on the sub. If so, you could just solder it back on.. depending on the extent of the damage. Pics would help us greatly.

Pic 739 is what it is supposed to look like, pic 740 is the broken side, pic 741 is what the piece is connected to on the bottom, and pic 742 is the piece...

I have fixed a broken terminal like that with a couple thick rubber washers and a small bolt and nut, you just sandwhich everything together and tighten the nut, the rubber(plastic will work) washers keep things from grounding on the frame.

The wire on a different terminal (one that is attached) has disconnected... I have NO IDEA what I can do now!!! HELP

A broken tinsel lead is about the easiest fix you can do.

An 8 year old can learn to solder, seriously. A quick google to get the basics, stop by WalMart and buy a $9 iron and $3 worth of solder, and become a man. Err with tits.
