What to bring to college

We had a weekly poker game in my dorm, $5 buy in, texas hold em and sometimes Omaha.
And Bose301, the AC was the ONLY benefit to living in the dorms I had freshman semester over living in the park. They were small, old as hell, nasty, dirty, and the A/C only worked about half the time. I'm sure there is atleast 1 other person on here who has seen the Clemson Shoeboxes and can verify all this.
my brother stayed in them. i was 7 or 8 when he went but i remember him complaining all the time about how they sucked. o well, ive got a private dorm with central a/c an alot of space. ill be moved in next week an will post pics up.

crack, dont forget the crack.

aside from living essentials.....

learn the meaning of the words time management, or else you're ****ed.
yah... dont know how well thats gonna work especially since I picked the amazing major of Architecture aka one of the toughest majors offered at tech... your not even considered in the Architecture program until the 2nd year after your portfolio has been judged... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

Also, don't forget a good stapler. More than half my professors required that all papers we turned in be stapled.

I can't even tell you how many times this caused me to have to run to the library or scour the dorm halls at 3am in hopes that some one is still awake.

Penicillin for all the nasty *** ladies at Tech. Lubbock has one of, if not the highest, STD rate in the country. I think it's something along the lines of 1 in 4 people have or have had some kind of STD.

Conservative College Station ftw //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/woot.gif.aaa6090e619a97b6090d16dd863c5a69.gif .

Radford, a couple miles down the road from Blacksburg, is the exact same way. Needless to say we don't go over there.

Rugs are pretty important for dorms...the floor gets pretty **** nasty without one. A wet/dry vac has come in handy every now and then, too, but paper towels are definately a must. I think the main thing is, and you'll find this in years to come, that you should pack as light as possible. Dorms/apartments **** when there's too much stuff cluttering the place.
