what thickness plexi

i'm building a box out of half wood and the other half plexi but I dont know what thickness plexi. Another question how do I make an air tite bond between both.

As thick as plexi as possible...3/4" or bigger //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif That shouldnt flex on you. Liquid nails or silicone should form a nice air tight seal between the plexi and Im assuming MDF board.
