OK so I've got two Kicker Comp VR 12s runnin off a Kicker 600.4 and i'm facin a problem with my bass. It doesn't seem to like certain songs and my bass shuts itself off when i get to like volume 20 and i know they can hang cause I've got a buddy with almost the exact same set up and they pound. What could be wrong cause its killn me...

check your gain it could be the amp going into protection.turn down the gain a lil' and see if it helps

yep...sounds like either the gains are to high, to small of a power wire, or bad wiring.......

perhaps your alternator is weak and when your bass hit's hard your voltage drops below 12 volts.....when your bass is hitting hard check to see what your voltage is with a voltmeter....(at the amplifier)

so i can fix it by adjusting the gains and if that doesnt do it...?
