I agree arguing is silly, but I was just getting a bit tired of seeing someone claim golf is easy and/or doesnt require coordination. It requires amazing hand-eye coordination, concentration, and muscle memory via lots of practice. Michael Jordan was once quoted as saying golf is much more challenging than basketball. Probably makes sense since he was a natural at bball, but still, hardly shows how easy golf is. Like said above, if you think golf is simple and nothing to understand, you have precious little experience trying to master the game.

Well, there is good solid info on saving energy production by recycling. One aluminum can recycled saves the equivalent of a half gallon of gas. If the media plastered a bunch of **** all over the place about real problems, do you not think that most of america would blindly follow like they do with everything else?

Yes, and an asteroid could very well hit the earth and destroy all life next month. Ive yet to see any concrete evidence we know how much oil is available. Ive read that oil wells that went dry years ago (helping lead to the theories we are running out) have started producing again, and some scientists theorize there is a vast and connected supply of oil deeper than current technology allows us to drill. Im not saying that's necessarily true, but Im not about to jump on the 'omg we all need to switch to wind powered cars' bandwagon and lose sleep at night either.
Its true there are much larger issues than Tiger's Woods romances, but uhm... this kind of crap has been popular long before we were ever born, and will be long after we are all dead. Build 'em up, and tear 'em down... we love to do it to our role models... human nature 101. Losing sleep over oil reserves or the national debt wont change that, it will only make you bitter. If you dont like the topic, simple solution... start a new thread about a topic important to you.

I think it was onm the daily show the other day where I saw them make fun of Fox News. One news 'blurb' was on the issue of whether or not we could trust the safety of the H1N1 vaccine, basically scaring us into thinking it might be unsafe and should consider not taking it. And then within 15 mins they had another blurb stating how terrified we should be that they dont have enough vaccines to go around. CNN and the others are just as bad. Fucking media these days, scare mongers and ratings *****s, all of them. The sickening part ois the followers who see that crap, and then feel superior to everyone else due to their amazingly enlightened opinions on current events. There are only two legit sources of unbiased news today... the Thunderdome, and The View.
