What the hell does this mean?

On my hercules, i got these settings. The manual is very brief and don't give much. What do these mean?

Low Pass------> 35hz-250hz

Q Control -----> wide-narrow

What's the difference between Bass EQ and Bass Boost? I got both of them.

Phase Shift ------> 0-180

Subsonic --------->10hz-50hz

Anyone with some help, i would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Lowpass cuts off any frequency above the filter(number its set at)

-Should be around 60-80 depending on how high you want your subs to play

Phase Shift reverses the polarity of the sub

-Leave it on 0

Subsonic is like a highpass filter. It doesnt allow anything below the filter.

-This should be set accordingly to the tuning of the box. 20-30 would be my guess.

I have no Idea on Qcontrol.

Bass EQ Im guessing is what frequency the boost is set at. Bass Boost increases the output. I wouldnt use either though, so Bass Boost on 0.

he meant im pretty sure the low pass cuts off anything above what its set at. its so your subs are not playing mid bass. try to set it where you're mids pick up the bass. usually around what he said 60-80. but sometimes as high as 100hz.

I have mine set between 80 and 100. But I can control it from the HU also.
