what sort of dustcap?

so i wanna put a new cap on my w7. the outer edge has a nice flat 3/8" lip all the way around to glue the new cap to.

i was thinking carbon fiber would look nice and give the w7 a different look

probably more of a grey/black carbon fiber to match the surround a bit more

what do you think?

i think the silver or dark grey would look decent

i have no clue, i was just gonna buy a piece of carbon fiber and cut it to size

call JL, what they do is send you a dustcap with a pic of you face with a ***** going in your mouth with JL written on it

If you wanna hit 300+ deebeez, you need funky pups. Silver would look better than dark gray, but where are the subs going? Might be cool if they matched the vehicle's interior.

I had a 1/8" thick piece of mirror black lexan cut to fit my old ones... LOOKED AWESOME!! had a 1.5" lexan rod cut to mount on the black "nipple" in the middle so the cone and dustcap were integrated just like from the factory ( thats how the "W" cone has amazing ridgidity) there are pics floating around here of mine... just use the search function
