cant go wrong with "eazyer said than done"Feeling some old school rap. Easy E at the moment.
I can't get into LPs latest album. I'm just not feeling it.i watched "need for speed" for like the 7th time last weekend, so ive been stuck on a few of the newer linkin park songs, specifically "roads untraveled" but reverted to the album "Reanimation" for the last few days, which is awesome! Released on DVD-Audio and very high quality stereo tracks along with the 5.1. But the album most stuck in my head as of late is Clutch's "Psychic Warfare" Killer stoner rock!! I hate that genre title, but thats what its called LoL
"Hunting Party" isnt my fave either, neither is "Living Things", but "Liveing Things" has 2 redeeming qualities about it so far "Roads Untraveled" and "Burn it Down". Reanimation was stellar tho. Have you ever heard it in 5.1? I worked at an Ultimate Electronics in the early 2k's and one of the home audio rooms had all KEF speakers almost identical to these for fronts and centers, same line for rears and sides (it was a 7.1 setup, but that album was only recorded in 5.1) and a sunfire powered sub. Now the amplification.... The amplification was all Krell similar to these . Matter of fact, there were several of them along with a preamp that was nearly identical to that one on top. It was positively sick!!! of course, it was six figures of electronics, hell the sunfire sub was 3k by itself and that was one of the least expensive items in that room, but this was back in the day when the pioneer elite 42" plasma was $25k. Sound deadening panels on the walls ensured as little reflection as possible, and there ya had pure audio bliss!!! I was the 12 volt manager at the time, so being of that rank, i pretty much got to go in there whenever i wanted (usually my lunches) and play some stuff at fairly unreasonable volume levels.I can't get into LPs latest album. My DSP can do 7.1 up mixing. But I unhooked the rears because it was killing my output. They didn't have enough output to do anything and I had to bring down the rest just to have them be effective. I might try it again sometime by getting better drivers with some power."Hunting Party" isnt my fave either, neither is "Living Things", but "Liveing Things" has 2 redeeming qualities about it so far "Roads Untraveled" and "Burn it Down". does your deck output 5.1?My DSP can do 7.1 up mixing. But I unhooked the rears because it was killing my output. They didn't have enough output to do anything and I had to bring down the rest just to have them be effective. I might try it again sometime by getting better drivers with some power.
