what port size do i need to make it 40hz?

the box is 42"x15x27 8.5 cubic feet the port size is 10"x51/2"x11 and i belive its tune too 35hz. but i want to tune it too 40hz. my subs are 4 hifonics olympus 3200 watts 1600 rms each in lexus es300. what do i need to do to tune it too 40hz? do i make the port longer or sould i add another port. plz help thanks

You make the port shorter to raise the tuning. I don't know enough to give specifics, but use this, it'll help:

why exactly do you want to raise tuning?

and what is the height and width of your port?

just google "port length calculator". the12volt has a good one, just put in internal airspace, port width and height, and desired tuning and it'll tell you

how does this sounds for the 40hz. 5.5"wx11"hx6"l i found it on Subwoofer Enclosure Calculators, Fraction to Decimal, Parallel, Series, Port Length and Volume Calculators dont know if its true what yall think..............
