What length RCA in a Expedition?

Hey all, Doing a system in a Expo and need to order some RCA cables, wondering what the minimum lenght that will work in it is. I had some 5m ones but am thinking that I need the 7m ones instead. what do you guys think?

well the 5m is 16.5 ft and the 7m is like 23.something so I am i think i am gonna go with the 7m

Well an 06 Expedition is 17ft long from bumper to bumper. A 6M RCA should be more then enough and a 5M would be ok if running down the center

it may be 17ft from end to end in a straight line. but rcs are tucked/routed up down. etc. which cuts down on length. keep that in mind.

I would go ahead and get the 7m.

Yes, that is true, but the radio is atleast 4ft forward, so that is 13ft From back of the HU to the rear bumper , the truck is 80" wide so 40" to Left or right side and say 12" down (the back of HU to floor). a 6M RCA is 19.5ft (234") so that leaves him 15' to go down the door sill to the rear bumper which is 13ft away. I am sure it would be mounted near the third seating area which is atleast 1' fromn the rear bumper. So he has 12ft to go and 15ft of cable - you dont see many cables over 20ft made for a reason.

I ran 17feet in my expy no problem
