What kinda amp for 250 shipped

Sonic has refurbished DB Drives that do 2000 @ 1 ohm for 199.99. I'm going to grab one for that and I don't even have the electrical for it! Lol! Here's a link:

This is an excellent deal. I hear these things bench out around 2300.

If you are willing to go up to 300 you can usually find an AQ2200 for around 300 shipped. Very stout amps and efficient too, I'm getting hardly any drop running mine off just an upgraded front battery and the big 3

better deal. after clamping a soft clipped 1200 from the ap's ive tested 130$ is an easy spend . so op i would do that

IMO the price difference between the AQ and the AP is minimal, and the AQ will be worlds more efficient...if you can find a 2200 you will be all set.

u could get the power acoustic demon series 6000d it has a 250a external fuse if it does close to 2500? Who knows. It goes for $228

it was a guy on caco selling a powerbass xa3000d for 300 shipped I would get this one of he still is selling I have one and it is amazing, (dd,sundown quality)

Besides the sundown that Jose posted the AQ pretty much will beat everything in this thread. They aren't the cheapest amps you can find but they are worth every penny. If you get a cheap amp, chances are it is inefficient so you are going to be putting a lot more strain on your electrical than you should be

this my aq 2200 has less of a voltage drop than the brz 1700 i had on my same electrical

Yep, swapped out my rubicon 2500 for the AQ and it was louder, less drop and the response was flatter (the rubicon seemed very peaky around 40-45)
