'Other'

Because I don't really care what ethnic background the food has as long as it tastes good. When I do actually go out to eat (rarely), it's usually just fast food or something. That said, I do like to eat Chinese, Italian, etc etc

Chinesse...

We have two chinesse places by my work that I eat at regularly... One we call Chickety-China, its just a Chinesse Buffet, the other is called Mongolian BBQ and its kinda a buffet too, only you go though and load you WOK lookin bowl with beef, pork, chicken all real thin sliced and squid, aong with brocolli, bean sprouts and a few other fresh neggies, then you go to this next area, where you put on like 5 a laddle full of like 5 different spice/oils and then they dump your bowl on this huge WOK with big *** flames under it and cook it for a few.... They stir it around with what looks like chopsticks the size of pool sticks.... Then they give it back to you all hot and steaming...

Good stuff....

x2 for sure.

Though I do prefer Italian ... and the food in the house definitely reflects that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

chinese is bomb, but i love japanese. I think japanese takes all by a long shot. You can get so many different things. Most people think japanese is sushi, and raw fish, its not that have so many different things. I love sushi, miso soup, and alot of other things they serve at the local japanese restuarnt i go to. Its always good and for 7.95, you get a plate full of seasme chicken, 3 pieces of sushi, a side dish of cut up carrots, and cucmber, either 3 fried potstickers or 3 different kinds of tempura. You also get this little dish of cucumbers and shrimp in it before the meal, along with miso soup. Only bad side to this resturant is they charge 2.50 per a glass of soda. But overall its the bombest japanese food ever.

In San Franciso theres a little japanese resturant in Japan town, that has these little boats floating around with sushi on it, also another bomb *** place to eat.

For chinese id have to say this place by my girlfriends house. for like 6.95 u get this huge @ss plate of fried rice, chow mein, and sweet and sour pork. I some times get that but i'm more of a guy that like Chow Fun. One will know what im talking about. For everyone who doesnt know what it is, its a big thick noodle and its ususally served with chicken, beef, shrimp, veggies, and all kinds of other stuff. Theres also a place that serves this too, that is hella bomb.

As you can see i eat out alot lol..... and its usually an asian type resturant, because i personally think its the best. I am italian so i get alot of italian as it is.... mexican food to me, isnt that great.... cause i use to get alot.... I do love cajun and southern food. When i was in lousiana and florida for a couple weeks a couple years ago i got the nerve up to try Frog legs and Aligator(sp?).

Theres my rant guys lol.

Having lived in Tokyo for 3 years I can tell you first hand that TRUE Japanese food reminds me of British food. Bland. Dry. Flavorless and boring. It's all rice, naato (fermented sweet beans that leave this nasty sticky film all over everything and smell like dirty feet) tofu, nori (kelp), and fish. No seasonings except soy and occasionally some wasabi.

Sesame chicken is Chinese. There IS a type of Japanese cucumber that my wife really likes. Pot stickers are Chinese. Basically all the popular foods that are served in most US "Japanese" places are not Japanese with of course the exception of sushi/sashimi. They are popular in Japan because the traditional food is so bad, but they are about as Japanese as baseball.

The best stuff in Tokyo were the different Asian resturants that were all over the place. Gyoza (potstickers), curry (Indian and Thai), yakiniku (Korean BBQ that you cook yourself), real Chinese food (as opposed to the "Chinese" food most often served in the US), Malaysian, Thai, Mongolian, etc... There was also a Brazilian BBQ place that was GREAT!

Me personally, I like Thai food. Spicy, but a flavorful spicy that actually adds to the taste rather that just being crazy hot. Filipino food and Korean food are really good, too. Vietnamese isn't bad. Moroccan and Iranian are really good as well.

Italian!

I like spaghetti & meatballs, lasagna or anything that has noodles in it!:hilarious but true!

But I do love asian food!(that means food from all over asia)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
