what just happened...

My amp shut off last night so i figured i just blew a fuse or something. Checked them all and they were fine. Then i re-did all the wires and still didnt work...i assumed i blew it. then all of a sudden i just tugged a little on the wires and the amp came on. it worked for about 3 minutes and then shut off. now i cant get it on again...what do i do?
