Rob, I’m pretty sure you took that out of context. Where’s the rest of the conversation, because it looks like thx was quoting someone who said that, not saying that himself.
That's possible. I guess if he can sow the source, we will know. As it is, it's HIS post, since he never offered that someone else said those words.

Masks are like burqas, they hide your emotions, hinder communication with others.
Interesting. I was able to communicate fine with people for the ~1.5 years we wore masks. Surgeons are able to communicate effectively during surgeries. I assume in China, where are masks are commonplace, they are able to communicate. Sick parents are often required to wear masks yet are still able to communicate with nurses, etc.

And the people who wear burkas (burquas?) seem to communicate just fine.
And the people who wore them 16 hours a day, working in the hospitals around the world.

That damn logic and fact getting in the way of a narrative again...

I wonder if some moron at In-n-Out thought they could capture conservative market share with this policy. I seriously doubt they're worried that masks are hindering service. Are their employees even wearing masks? I get there's some oddball germaphobes, but is it actually an issue or did In'n'Out decide to throw their burger into the political arena?

Jim, words are far the the only form of communication that comes from your face. Facial expressions are a key form of human communications 🥴😳☹️😁

The easiest way to see how facial expressions affect people is seen with kids:

Young kids suffered communication-related development problems, because masks hide facial expressions; kids learn so much from facial expressions. The masks don’t stop the spread of covid, but they do oppress those who had to wear them, if they didn’t want to, just like women who are forced to wear burqas; it’s a form of oppression and control over someone.

Please tell me why kids need to wear masks for covid, when the masks don’t work for that purpose, and kids have almost literally a 0% chance dying from covid. All that does is f*ck up the kids’ development:

“A child's early learning composite is derived from their fine motor, visual reception, receptive, and expressive language scales, and is the early years equivalent to an IQ score.”

“The study concluded that 'children born during the pandemic have significantly reduced verbal, motor, and overall cognitive performance compared to children born pre-pandemic.'

'In addition,' the report adds, 'masks worn in public settings and in school or daycare settings may impact a range of early developing skills, such as attachment, facial processing, and socioemotional processing.'”

The lockdowns and covid measures have messed up and entire generation of our youth’s development, and for what?

Because kids never saw anybody without a mask during the pandemic? Nevertheless, I was speaking specifically about In-n-Out's policy in today's world.

Look, Rob voted for Biden for two reasons, his hatred for Trump and because he just assumed the economy would be better. That's enough for me to know Rob is stupid.
And the economy IS better. Seems like the trend that started in 1947 continues.

So we cannot communicate with the blind, or over the telephone.
Damn shame.
