I think you got it wrong. They always "dislike" the CDC. It's just if the CDC has data that supports their narrative, then they trust and use that data to bolster their arguments (but still don't like and don't trust the CDC). If the CDC puts out data that doesn't support their narrative, then that data is not to be trusted, has been manipulated, etc, etc, etc.

I think society in general is full of liars. Does that mean everything is a cover up or conspiracy or everybody is lying all the time?

The danger is when the fact that we are surrounded by liars is used to create conspiracies and alternate realities.

You mean an alternate reality like “you won’t catch covid if you’re vaccinated” or the alternate reality of “covid came from a wet market”? Yes, the government, corporations, and NGO’s are conspiring all the time to take control of our lives, and they do cover up their tracks, like covering the tracks of Fauci and others funding the Wuhan Biolab, where covid was weaponized. Covering up the fact that all the lockdown ideas were made out of thin air, like stay 6 feet apart, a mask protects your from an aerosolized virus, etc. Dude, that’s just your standard day in the government for these people; that’s all they do is conspire and lie to us.

I think people are liars in general. I've seen polls that show how society "approves" of lying. You see it everyday in advertising. All these idiots with their "tactical" gear living a lie, etc, etc, etc.

CDC put the article on there website that said cotton masks only stop ~10% of the virus. WTF else do "you guys" want? They put out the data about how ineffective masks are. I worked at DHS at the time and was getting my training straight from CDC & HHS and they couldn't have been clearer about the ineffectiveness of the mask.

Here's one article. The published articles prior to this one. The anti-mask/lock down crowd went nuts over the CDC article. https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/eid/article/26/10/20-0948_article

Within about 1 month (right at the beginning of the lock downs), CDC went from no mask, to mask, to cloth masks aren't very effective. Front line gov't workers weren't allowed to use cloth masks, they had to use surgical masks. Why were masks mandated - again much like the vaccine, masks aren't a magical barrier that stops the virus like a brick wall. When dealing with a virus that spreads at geometric growth rate, even a small reduction in the rate makes a huge difference generations down the road.
