The problem is that people are thinking they can just use the same stuff that is used on animals. The stuff for human use is different.

Kind of like the idiots drinking bleach after their exalted leader suggested it.
Repurposing drugs is huge and common, but they still need to do the clinical trials for efficacy. And it sounds like they are. Imagine the financial windfall of already having a drug that can be shown to have a major impact on this pandemic.

Rob clearly admits Trump didn't tell people to drink bleach - it's pretty hard to dispute a direct quote that can be verified at 100s of websites. That doesn't mean there wasn't a correlation. It's one thing to say Trump was a root cause, it's another thing to say "Trump said 'chug bleach!'" Trump was clearly one of the causes in the "bleach chugging," as was the exhaustive coverage, the anti-vax movement's desire to do anything other than what the CDC suggested, social media, etc, etc, etc. It's like Jan 6th, did Trump say "kick in the doors, stop the count, hang Pence, etc" no.
