Hospitals haven’t required a vaccine for nurses or doctors. You may believe Facebook memes, but my religious whacko anti-vax mother was a nurse for 20 years. This references a place in America. It references the private sector (since you seem to think there are no private firefighter or EMT businesses in America). It references 14,000 employees across 90 facilities for one company ALONE.

And yes, I have had to confirm vaccination status for employment. I also have had to verify I am not a felon. And that I was licensed to drive. And was subject to many background checks, plus fingerprints on file.
