Agreed every solider knows what they signed up for when they joined the military. They know they are going to get a ton of vaccines before they enter boot camp. Same with being a Firefighter/EMT. Before you are allowed to go out on calls you get every single vaccine that someone who joins the US Military gets to a T. And every few years if you are still active with said dept or another dept you get boosters. Why does a Firefighter/EMT get those same vaccines? Simple because 1. You can be called to an active Military Base. 2. You can be sent into a Military Operation to evacuate or treat patients or to search rubble for survivors. 3. Perfect example of this is Ukraine. Firefighters and EMT's are on the frontlines daily doing those exact actions trying to save people.
So, in the USA (idk about Canada), it’s illegal to mandate any product under an EUA usage/approval.
21 U.S. Code § 360bbb–3 - Authorization for medical products for use in emergencies:
(ii)
Appropriate conditions designed to ensure that individuals to whom the product is administered are informed —
(I) that the Secretary [of Health and Human Services] has authorized the emergency use of the product;
(II) of the significant known and potential benefits and risks of such use, and of the extent to which such benefits and risks are unknown; and
(III)
of the option to accept or refuse administration of the product, of the consequences, if any, of refusing administration of the product, and of the alternatives to the product that are available and of their benefits and risks.

Read this if you’re confused:
So, all covid vaccines were only approved under EUA, which means it’s illegal to mandate them. It’s, also, not smart for the military to be given experimental shots in mass, where the full side effects have not been studied or revealed, because not enough time has passed and bad unknown and known side effects may cripple readiness or performance of our armed services. The law specifically says medical products authorized for emergency use can be refused and that no consequences should be applied towards any individual refusing the product.
All covid vaccines now are still approved under EUA, if you click on each individual vaccine:
The FDA has regulatory processes in place to facilitate the development of COVID-19 vaccines that meet the FDA's rigorous scientific standards.

I find it stupid and extremely worrying people can’t understand a simple thing, not trying to target you, like understanding why an experimental or not fully licensed product can’t be mandated.
There’s another pandemic coming…are we all going to fall for the same traps, again?
