We are all professionals. He has bought into the myth that people are stupid, I bought into it for a long time also, but people aren’t stupid. Trump does the same thing the other way. People are disengaged from the political discussion a lot of times and may not know much about current affairs, but that’s usually by design. Those are usually the people who are more concerned about their emotional health than being educated on current politics, but they aren’t stupid. I’m a socialist for fvcks sake and he puts me in a republican box so he can go on believing that he is of superior intelligence. It’s narcissism. I don’t want to type a whole book on here on psychology, but social media and google searches are turning our whole society into weird narcissistic modern day troglodytes. There’s something called the Dunning-Kruger effect happening on a mass scale and that psychology is being used against us, in all western societies. Restricting some information and supplying only selected information amplifies the Dunning-Kruger effect and has people thinking they know what’s going on when we don’t know shit. We’ve been playing around with how to control the human mind on a mass scale since before most of us were born.
