This IS a Mono-Leaf Spring. I never said there is only one in the world so stop being a dumbasss. If you have two of these then you could say "I have a PAIR of mono-leaf springS" whereas the S now becomes usable in the description. I never said you couldn't say it either.
Monochrome paint is a single color paint. I never said there is only one color it could be. It can be whatever color you can paint.
A monocycle is singular but if you had more than one the plural IS monocycles. I never said there was but one in existence. Seriously... does your anus throb all day or something???

On my old car it has a PAIR of mono-leaf springs in the rear.

Mono refers to the number of leafs, not the number of springs. Just like you can have one leaf pack made of multiple leafs and it will be one leaf spring. People generally say leaf springs in reference to vehicles because they are most often used in pairs.
