Does that help you feel like you won something? You're welcome lil buddy.Ahhh, the sidestep of failure. Repetitive indeed.

So you HAVE to say how MANY monoleaf springs you have? Here you go RobGMN.
This IS a Mono-Leaf Spring. I never said there is only one in the world so stop being a dumbasss. If you have two of these then you could say "I have a PAIR of mono-leaf springS" whereas the S now becomes usable in the description. I never said you couldn't say it either.
Monochrome paint is a single color paint. I never said there is only one color it could be. It can be whatever color you can paint.
A monocycle is singular but if you had more than one the plural IS monocycles. I never said there was but one in existence. Seriously... does your anus throb all day or something???

Context little buddy. Don't leave it out. It matters.Stupid, they show that you are wrong about the term "monoleaf springs".
You DON"T know better than the editors of the OED and the spring mfgrs, you just FEEL you do.
BIG difference between FEELINGS and FACTS.
Since you apparently forgot: "It's Monoleaf Spring. The S makes it plural which is contradictory to mono"
"Monoleaf springs" is valid, as is "monochrome paint jobS", as is "moncycleS", as is "monocles" and just about any other word that uses "mono" to describe a singular item that can exist in multiples.
Stop trying so hard to fail. You're succeeding.
Crate full of mono-leaf springs is fine as crate full is an amount. So you HAVE to say how MANY monoleaf springs you have?
If you say "I have a crate full of monoleaf springs in my garage", it's incorrect grammar unless you name the NUMBER of springs you have in the crate?
What if someone asks the type of springs on your antique vehicle? "It has monoleaf spring"?
Again, you failed.
Learn the language.
Well that's not very Jesus like"MY OPINION" is Rob needs his teeth kicked in
IncorrectKeep on "winning" RobGMN.
It's Monoleaf Spring. The S makes it plural which is contradictory to mono.
Plural is contradictory to Mono as Mono means singular. Contradictory means mutually opposed. Correct.Incorrect
Mono refers to the number of leafs, not the number of springs. Just like you can have one leaf pack made of multiple leafs and it will be one leaf spring. People generally say leaf springs in reference to vehicles because they are most often used in pairs.Plural is contradictory to Mono as Mono means singular. Contradictory means mutually opposed. Correct.![]()
Yup... they insist. Mono does refer to the number, that being one. Rob insist I be literal with him. It's hard for my lil buddy to understand things sometimes.Mono refers to the number of leafs, not the number of springs. Just like you can have one leaf pack made of multiple leafs and it will be one leaf spring. People generally say leaf springs in reference to vehicles because they are most often used in pairs.
Are you guys seriously arguing over this?
I already posted the definition from the OED. YOU claimed the ultimate reference for definitions is wrong. That means YOU get to prove that claim.Ok Rob the retard.... I am going to need you to do some research. Some diligence on your part is now needed. Contact a professor of the American English Language and run our argument by that person. Bring me written proof and post it on this forum proving that I am wholly wrong on this topic.
They shouldn’t do that. What was the contradiction? Here is a COVID question. Why are science experts saying one thing about Omicron and Biden contradicts what they are saying? Shouldn't the science experts and The White House be on the same page?
Typical. You got no balls. Coward. I win by default. Live with that. Loser.I already posted the definition from the OED. YOU claimed the ultimate reference for definitions is wrong. That means YOU get to prove that claim.
I don’t need to prove the OED is right any more than I need to prove Pythagorus was right.
You don’t know very much, do you?
If anyone could prove Pythagoras was right, he would have a law rather than a theorem. Or was that your way of saying oed MIGHT be right because it can't be disproven or hasn't been disproven? You should start searching for squatch, because its existence also can't be disproven.I already posted the definition from the OED. YOU claimed the ultimate reference for definitions is wrong. That means YOU get to prove that claim.
