It's pretty simple. While delivering pizza while Trump was president I paid less than $2.00 a gallon for gas in southeast Ga, sometimes well under $2.00. I bought gas every 1 to 3 days. While delivering pizza under Biden I regularly paid near $3.00 a gallon in southeast Ga. The only reason gas prices got higher with Trump in office is because COVID hit and that was not under the control of Trump. My boss and owner of the last pizza place I worked at had to compensate us for the rising cost of gas under Biden and had to raise the price per delivery to the customer.

So you can sit there and call me a liar all you want. The price of gas had a direct impact on my day to day take home profit. By the way, good job explaining how you know all the facts.

Gas prices dropped precipitously due to COVID. They started to recover one things started to “open up” again after the world went on lockdown.

I was paying like $1.70's for a while, shortly after Trump got in. After Biden got in, almost immdediately once he got in, I've been having to pay like $3 a gallon. That's 87 octane pricing.

The lowest national average under Trump happened in Feb 2016. $1.87/gal
The next lowest was Mar 2016 @ over $2.00 a gallon. Where do you get your gas so cheap?
And are you calling $1.799 “in the $1.70’s”?

This is one subject that I honestly can't argue about. I haven't paid attention to gas prices since I was a teenager. Imagine being so butt hurt over a couple of bucks.

Saint Marys, Ga. There were moments it was in the $1.50's to $1.60's in Saint Marys, Ga under Trump. No shiit, as soon as Biden went into the White House, gas prices went up. First hitting $2.00 for 87 then climbing higher since. I am not saying Biden sets the price of oil but it sure seems funny that prices jump and keep jumping. You keep posting National Averages which mean it takes the highs and the lows and averages them to a middle ground. So I know there was $2.50 - $3.50+ per gallon of gas in some parts of the country. Just not where I lived and it wasn't for a day or two. Location matters. Context matters.

Seeing some Help Wanted signs doesn’t mean all the jobless people in the US are lazy.

Nah, I was literally paying like low $1.60's to $1.70's for 87 octane here in FL, when I still had my Ranger. I put Premium in my 328i, so it's more expensive. But, I was paying like $2.20 for premium under Trump for quite a while for, like 2 years in a row or so, IIRC, and now under Biden, I'm paying like $3.65 (varies some) for 91 or 93 octane. I'm in Central Florida.
