what is ur peoples view on the kicker comp vr 12's

i didnt get that many replies before when i posted this but ima try one more time. just to make a long story short i have a friend that is new to the car audio thing and he wants two 12 inch subs. so i suggested to him two comp vr 12's and a 900 watt soundstream amp, so is that a good setup that i suggested to him. i think it should hit pretty hard for a beginner

Of all the kicker subs i've heard I haven't heard the vr's but searching through the forum you will see a lot of people saying they are great bang for the buck subs. You will also hear that how the systems will sound depends on a lot of variables.

My brother just picked up a vr 15 yesterday and powered it with a boss 1500d and he said it sounded decent but he also got a prefab ported box and has no idea the volume of the box or the tuning. But he was comparing it to what my w7 sounded like in my car but he's still happy with it.

hey thanks people ima let him know. oh yea and polecat those i got those 2 15 l7''s and they are great. im powering them off of two 1200 watt concept amps.1 a sub

yes i have a 2005 cvr 10", and for a single 10 this things is awesome for the money.
