I doubt they were designed by Grizz Archer since his expertise is in the area of speakers.

Doubt it or not. I dont have the thread were he was talking about it but he did mention he was on the design team.

someone on here was saying that the DTR series does well over rated and can be ran under impedence

I might have to get one and try it out. $159.00 for 1400 watts rms seems seriously low. Like 11 cents a watts.

I know grizz on a personal level, and I can tell you he did not do anything with the reference amps, they had those boards already made before he was hired.

That is 3000 watts at 2 ohm. I'm talking 1 ohm....

Still that Audiopipe is a great budget amp.

Your right, it is actually two 1500's in one chassis. 1500 watts a one ohm x 2 or 3000 watts at 2 ohm x 1

I was in the industry for 8years( i did not work for them) and I saw what they were doing. Pretty smart if you look at it from a diffrent point on view.
