What is up with my sub wiring?

In my last thread we came to the conclusion that one of my subs needs to be broken in, well i got curious so i switched positions of the subs, and now its doing the same thing, with the other sub.

The one that i originally thought was not broken in is moving with more excursion, so now i'm confused. I THOUGHT my wiring was right, i checked it again and it still matches this wiring diagram, which is the third one down...

http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp?submitted=true&woofer_qty=2&woofer_imp=3

that is the correct way right? And if i have dual .5 VC's this will make it a 2 ohm load, RIGHT?

I'm so lost now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

i took out the 12 gauge and wired the VC's together directly, no change

no it isn't loading oddly, but now i'm starting to worry that it is my box, which means a new one would be in order...that sux

Hmmm. I'm lost. Make sure there is no air leaks in the chambers.
its a common chamber box, and i just switched which sub was getting the power first, and its the one getting the power first thats being over powered, so i've came to that conclusion.

EDIT: I'm going to try running it series/parallel, i'llbe running it at .5 i'll just have to watch my gains i guess...

didn't turn out so well...

i think i blew one of my subs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif when i press on the driver you can hear the VC's scratch

but i was only running the gain at 1/4, that Z1 must put out crazy amounts of power, and it got REALLY hot in like 20 seconds, this sux, i've had this sub all summer i hook it up for 20 seconds and now i think its blown //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif sorry to hear that... i saw the post about the blown sub for sale, I sold an old 9512e for like $75 locally //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

good luck with everything. Pales in comparison to when I blew a 9917 though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
