What is this song by Eazy-E?

Okay, I know Eazy-E did a song called "Boyz In Da Hood", but I remember hearing the same lyrics to a slower-paced beat with what sounded like a white guy singing it. It was a very mellow song, with an acoustic guitar as the only instrument, if memory serves correct. I can't seem to find the song anywhere. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Lyrics go:

It was the only version i've heard before and it's pretty chill. But I dowloaded the eazy-e version too and plan to give it a listen. I might convert.
