well i cant use that one cuz mine isnt really an ipod. its one of those outa china ebay order no-name knockoff things. So i gotta use one that jacks into the 3 mm cord or a usb.

Anyway, How much LOUDNESS (from the speakers) should i expect to lose from using this thing as opposed to a cd?

loudness shouldnt really matter because you can just turn it up... itll just be staticy and shitty sounding tho

i tried the fm modulator and then went the y-split route with 2 rca's to a mini, plugged straight into my ipod

friend says i cant do that. He says my 2 rca jacks on the back are only for amps and wont work for that....with my model HU...its old. Apparently these rcas on mine are ONLY for amps?

also...will static play on the subs? Im mostly worried about the subwoofer loudness and how they sound. The static and stuff will only be high pass sounds right?
