What is the name of that ipod accesory?

Ok...I have an older head unit...Pioneer DEH-2750. It only has 2 rcas in the back, and it doesnt have any aux in the front. My problem is that when my bass hits my cd is gonna skip. So cd's are out. I have to play songs from my ipod. I guess (since my HU has these problems) I can only use that accesory that lets me play my ipod songs through my fm radio. Does using this have disadvantages for subwoofer play as opposed to using a cd or is it actually better to use ipod with fm adapter thing then cds?

Oh and what is this thing called? and will it work on my HU?

No if they make one for your cd player its gonna be called a interface. I know the new modles use cables for a direct plug in the back. Some of the old oned have a box that you have to hook up to the cd player.

all you do is get a y split from radioshack

3.5mm (or whatever the standard is) male jack to 2 rca male input. if you have rca input on the back then that would be perfect.

nope those are the best other than the actual ipod usb input. the fm transmitters are the worst.

trust i know 4 people that have it and it sounds amazing.

friend tells me that the rcas i have on the back of mine are ONLY for the amps...he says they arent like auxillary where the ipod will work.
