What is the best 4 ch amp ?

Hi, i'm new to car audio and i got in my car a 4ch amp Kenwood KAC-8405.

Recently, a friend give me a old Kenwood Excelon kac-x501f (year 2000).

I would like to know which one is the best and have the best RMS power rating ??

The problem is that I can't find any informations for this old amp on the web

Kenwood KAC-8405 4-channel car amplifier — 60 watts RMS x 4 at Crutchfield.com

Kenwood Excelon KAC-X501F 4 Channel Amplifiers at Onlinecarstereo.com

8406 has more power in 4 channel operation

x501 has more power bridged

What I would do is run them together, both bridged.

the 501 does 50w x 4 @ 4ohms rms, 100w x 4 @ 2ohms rms and 200 x 2 @ 4ohms rms bridged mono.

the 8405 does 60w x 4 @ 4ohms, 90w x 4 @ 2ohms and 180 x 2 rms @ 4ohms bridged mono.

looks like the older x501 wins hands down.

Then run them both bridged if you want four channels, it wont be the cleanest sound, but it will be better than running speakers off the deck.

If you can get $50 each and throw in another $50 of your own money you can get a decent 4 channel.
