Fictional story is told to explain how we came to be(like any other religion). This one uses sci-fi to be specific.

Then take well known policies, guidelines, ways to do things and give them new names and claim you thought of them. Give them to people to teach them how to be a better person.

Before they get wise, deplete their savings.
