what is louder than slc 265's

i need something louder than my slc 265s, i can barely hear the words, what kind of speakers, not to much, maybe less than 250ish, i could do more if its worth it, now amp is a power acoustik ov2-400, 85x2 , but i might get a bigger amp soon

just throw out some good sounding loud speakers, door is deadened

Dude...looking at your substage...i dont think anything outside of horns could keep up with that....try adjusting you sub level accordingly so that you can.

In the meantime ,Have you tried the other levels on the xover for the tweeter? +3,+6? You try aiming the tweeter?

A nice sounding system is about 'balance'. 85 x2 on a fronstage to keep up with

2kw on a sub is asinine..

If he think he can't hear the word now, he'll soon find out what not hearing is really like if he uses horns to keep up with that substage. They'll do it, his ears may not like it for long though.
