What is loading?

I am trying to understand what the term "loading" means? I recently submitted a question to DD audio and part of their answer said something about "moving a box around the inside of a car changes the loading"? What is meant by loading in this particular application.

Pressure perhaps? Changing positions causes more pressure built up against whatever part of the cab the sound is hitting first?

I believe it has to do with certain freq and loading or moving the box to a different area can help enhance or reinforce certain frequencies. That is why you people face subs towards the trunk, it gives a different sound than if you fire them directly at the driver.
