My brother is having a problem with his subs...........when he changes songs or the bass stops the speakers still rumbel a bit, I personally think that it is his wiring kit because he has a 450watt kit and a 600 watt amp. He was told that it is his grounding point......anyone have any idea about this

he's right, its most likely his grounding point. And if thats not the case, than it could be a bad amp or a bad HU.

I have a similar problem with mine, like changing tracks you can hear the laser head moving and stuff. but mine is headunit related since I blew the amp inside it.

Bad grounding point, make sure it is a good location and scrape off the paint with 60 grit and he will be set.

well ok I tryed that last night we even used the same bolt that his tail lights are grounded to. But it still does it.

Bad ground can also be at the head unit or in most cases inside of the head unit.

this problem is happenin to me also all of a sudden after i connected a deformed amp to my RCA's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif ...

when i connected my old amp.. it int work.. i reversed the wiring in the RCA's (custom) +ve/-ve and it worked.. but when i change tracks .. i hear a poppin sound... the sub goes above its xmax //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

well when you rip the carpet back..... in some cars there is a bolt used solely for the tail light ground and if it isnt there find the ground attached to the light and follow it to the grounding point.
