What are you picking up?Yup, really wanted to keep it to do some bassrace practicing, but i also want to pick up a new gun and really can't justify having both. I can't have too much expensive **** layin around.

I think you will still need a meter, only because if you go by crowd vote, if you get a competitor that brings along his entire family and a guy that shows up solo the way I do, who do you think will win that vote? I think making it an affordable event, no sanctioning body like dB drag, iasca, usaci or anything like that, that way there is no no format rules. you show up, play what you want, with what you want. hell if someone wants to use turntables...let 'em. its about the system and how its built right? but I think music is the key to a sucessful event, not test tones. ANd play all out for a full minute. Just my opinion though, not like I know anything about sucessful events. lolk well i need some idea for this year show wiseI was thinking about having head to head battles no meter just on people opinion. It will consist of spl, vocal and mids, and all out and we would have judge and the crowd to choose the winner. This year it would only be bass race to give everyone a equal chance and head to head battles. We could do a point system for this year that the end of the year the people from 3rd to 1st will get trophies depending on points and will have free events so people would enjoy. We would only hand out certificates at the show because trophies are expensive. Add some suggestions please. I will shoot vids at every show and upload them on youtube so we can get more people to come to these shows. Here is the myspace I am working on: http://www.myspace.com/coloradobasswars
I understand that it'll still be in categories Tom, I'm just saying there are some people that dont ride with an entourage of friends and family. and crowd judges will obviously vote for their friends or family members car.. so the TL should still be used.the head to head battles will be equal. Meaning that the burb won't go against james escort lol. We should use the tl on the spl part but the vocal part it needs to be clean and able to listen to where the meter won't be used to figure what sounds better lol. Good ideas mike, Like i said i am trying to expand this so people will come.
no not a gift certificate. A certificateI understand that it'll still be in categories Tom, I'm just saying there are some people that dont ride with an entourage of friends and family. and crowd judges will obviously vote for their friends or family members car.. so the TL should still be used.
And what store would the certificates be for? Me for one, I don't shop Car toys, quality or ultimate.. so what good would that do? Also you'll have people that will only shop at like Say Quality, so if they win a car toys certificate, what did they win? Just playing devils advocate here. keep it open for everyone to WANT to compete and win. Not that any Q.A.S. system WILL win..but still.. hahaha

Have a saiga 12 and an arsenal sgl 10 ordered. Need to order up the stuff to do the pistol grip conversion on the 12. A semi auto 12ga with 12 round clips should be fun //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifWhat are you picking up?

For the shows I think crowd involvement is needed but I can also see people being whiny *****es if they think they unfairly lost to a crowd judgement...the meter levels things out.
How did that bassboxing gig at Bandimere go for crowd involvement? For the people that went...did that work well?
Very nice on the saiga 12! Look for one of the 20 rd. drums when you get it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gifHave a saiga 12 and an arsenal sgl 10 ordered.
