Some site said that if i had two amps i would need a distribution block. is this just if i have 2 amps for 1 sub? ive got components in the front with a 2 channel 120 watts rmsx2 powering them then a kicker 300 watts rms at 2 ohm and am searching for an amp to power it. Is it a better idea to buy a mono 1 channel amplifier for it and wire it to 2 ohms or should i buy a 2 channel amp and bridge it then wire it to 2 ohm. what will be the difference between the two? because it sounds like the 2 channel amp will be cheaper and more powerful.

i distribution block just splits a power wire or ground wire. so instead of running 2 wires from your battery, you get a d-block and run one power wire from your battery to the block, and then there will be 2 wires that come out of the d-block, and go to both your amps

im going to be installing component speakers plus a 780 watt amp and a 10" sub with an 800 watt amp. I already have a amp kit for the 780 wat amp but i still need one for the mono amp. I need to get a distribution block also, so can i use whats leftover from the first amp kit and just buy a distribution block or do i need a second kit with a distribution block?

if u have 1 power wire from ur battery in the front run that wire to the block, from the block run a wire to both of your amps POSITIVE terminals then run grounds for each
