What Internal Volume for this Sub?

How will a Pioneer TS-W306DVC 12" sub (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_5291.html) sound in a 1.21 Cubic Feet sealed box? Pioneer the recommend spces for a box here: 0.85 ~ 1.75 Cubic Feet. Will I get decent SQ and SPL running at 350 watts RMS for a first system?

It will sound very good and it will get decently loud... but if you could do the box a lil bigger it would sound better...

you're going to lose a lot of low end freqs in that volume... if you can try 1.5+ sealed

What about a ported box with 2.2 Cubic Feet? Or a sealed at 1.6 Cubic Feet?

I would go ported and tune it like 30-34hz but 1.6cubes sealed should sound nice

Alright, I think I am going with the sealed 1.6 Cubic Feet box.

Also, I noticed you have the same subs. How far over the 400 RMS rating can I go safely?

if you go ported you will get alot more outa theses subs
