what would happen if a box is tuned to the Fs of a sub? is it necesarily a bad thing.. ? just want to hear why/why not build a box to the Fs of a sub... cuz.. i dont know

for your info.. i am building a box 1.94 cu ft...

Fs= 36.9

Qes= 0.414

Qms= 3.584

Qts= 0.371

Vas= 1.03

xmax= 0.63

in your case, a box tuned at 37 hz is on the high side. you could do it and see, but i think lower (28-34) would sound better for daily driving.

i was actually going to have a box at 32hz.. but i was just wondering.. a mere curiosity... if that would make the sub the most efficient..
