Hi! Was wandering what happened if the magnet touch the bottom of my box, I mean I have exactly 4 3/4" clearance, and the sub has a 4 3/4" depth? Thanks for your ansewrs. I know I could put a ring or something like that, but what if I don't? Thanks for the answers

was looking at the sundown sd2-10 dual 4 ohm 500 rms and also was wandering if this amp would be good enough

That amp would work...does the sub have a vented pole....meaning a hole on the center of the magnet?if not your good.

Don't look like it...should be good then.

Might want to test fit before sealing everything up,to make sure the sub is exactly as deep as they say.

U will be fine that sundown is ment for exactly what ur trying to do. Shallow mount where there's no room behind the woofer.

I would put a thin foam in between so minor box flex doesn't create a buzzing sound.
