After reading through all these post it seems like the ones who are calling the OP names doesn't know how to communicate with others. I like to listen to my music loud. I am respectful to others and if my music is too loud and a person ask me respectfully to lower it I will, but if you are a jerk **** you. I think the OP should be considerate of others if they come with the correct approach.

you shouldn't have to be told to turn it down. You should responsible enough to know when your system is too loud for a given time and place.

I agree that there is a point where it gets disrespectful, but just because you can "hear" bass coming from somewhere doesnt make it "annonying", but a lot of older people just get pissed the second they hear bass, whether its 120db a football field away, or 150+db on their bumpers at a stop light. but i guess thats a personal opinion.

there are much worse things out there. Bass, but audio in general, is my hobby and my addiction. much better than doing acid or cocaine and driving around right? to me that would be MUCH more annoying because its DANGEROUS AS FVCK to you and everyone else on the road, ive seen plenty of friends "make the wrong choice" by doing this to put it nicely.

Okay. It is more than likely that when you hear bass that's not from your own music/system/house/car, it will annoy you. Hell, even when I hear bass from other cars while driving, I get annoyed. Also what the chance that the non-annoying bass you're hearing is from a genre you enjoy? or an Artist you listen to? or song you like? catch the drift?

i agree and i disagree with your argument. since when do we have to please everyone? basically what ur saying is that as long as everyone liked the bass then it would be ok and not be illegal?

if ur bumping ur system from the hours of 12-9pm go for it. its a free country and you should be able to. but to me there is no difference in a car driving by my house bumping, that i can only hear for 5 seconds at the most, to a harley, airplane, construction noise, etc.

im all for making laws with time restrictions but theres more things in the world to worry about right now than the 16 yr old obnoxious kid bumping his music. eventually he will grow up and be like most of us that turn it down in traffic, in residential areas, and dont sit bumping in his driveway.
