What HS sport is your state known for???

hmmm i wonder how a big 5a school would fair against the smaller district ones. i'm not sure how the districting works in other states but 5A are i think 2500+ schools.

i hear ya... theres many single A teams in HS hockey that stomp on Double AA teams..

Gotta be basketball but in our hs conference were known for football. Big Nothern conference we kill in football.

I'm not a label *****, I just go by what I hear, and what I find.

Maxpreps uses a different kind of ranking system, USAtoday is more like the BCS, maxpreps is like the AP coaches poll.

my old high school sucks now for football. I went to westlake high school in austin, they're 78 this year.

top 3 states for high school football in both attendance, nationally recognized teams and amount of players going into college from HS are Texas, California and Floriday. Those 3 states combined for 52% of recruits last year, that's scary.

No. 25 Colerain (Cincinnati) 28, Cardinal O'Hara (Springfield, Pa.) 0

No. 2 Byrnes (Duncan, S.C.) 21, Moeller (Cincinnati) 20

No. 3 Lakeland (Fla.) 25, No. 8 St. Xavier 22 (OT)

Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.) 21, Centerville 0

No. 5 De La Salle (Concord, Calif.) 56, Elder (Cincinnati) 38

Ohio High Schools are 4 and 5 from the ohio vs usa challenge this year. Which is pretty **** good when you look at the competition and consider that some of the ohio teams( findlay, centerville) aren't the greatest and lakeland and st. x went to overtime. byrnes only beat moeller by a point. So Ohio is definately up there for HS fball.

pa and ohio have excellent hs football programs alot leave the state in pa to go else where

yeah Lakeland beat St.Xavier in a really close game. I don't go to Lakeland, it is very close to me though, I have alot of friends that go there, and have been to some of their games.
