What head unit would u get with around the $300 range?

Last one I had about 4 years ago was a Pioneer/Premier which was awesome I must say. Right now I'm lookin to upgrade my 92 Mustang & have been out of the car audio loop for a while. So what's new out there? Please fill me in!

Would like:

*Easy to use controls & display

*High Power

*Controls for Bass, Midrange, Treble, & Subwoofer

*Plays MP3's

*And whatever else is the latest & greatest-like cell phone adaptability, etc...

this one turned out to be a pretty good head unit for the money. i like it. probably going to get the chameleon version.

I've personally dealt with techronics before though. They have awesome customer service and I got my speakers in 2 days.

Alpine OMO still rules the field my neighbor has one in his van that is about 10 years old still works just fine. I use to have a pioneer but after trying to get rid of alternator noise for a week I sent it back and got an Alpine never had any trouble after that.

whoa, that jvc unit plays dvd's on a small screen? $300? i thought dvd players would've been a lot more $$$ than that! but anyways, i don't think i'd be watchin too much dvd in the car. i like watchin movies on BIG screens lol!
