What happened?

i was listenin to music and it wasnt even all the way up and randomly the amp started making some popping noise in the right speaker. and so i turned it off for awhile and when i turned it back on it sounded normal but everytime i turn it off the right speaker pops.

any ideas what happened? should i contact the people i bought it from i still got the one year manufacturers warranty.

yes sounds like something is going out on the amp

Agreed, the speaker popping on shutoff is the amp's soft powerdown going out. You may need to replace your amp. I'd check that you aren't grounding anything out first.

i double checked that and nothing. everything is perfect.i completely unhooked everything and hooked it back up. and this just happened today. i have about a month of using this amp with no problem.

Your ground(s) are good, right? Re-check 'em.

ill check it again tomorrow. but i dont think its the ground because only the right front speaker makes the popping noise.

check to see if its grounding out some where and yes it can mess up your speakers
