ok so i've been away for awhile - anyways what's the deal w/phoenix gold / eclipse? do any of these two brands have a super woofer yet worth talking about (sub made after 2005)?

I have an eclipse driver, 2006 model. Link in my sig.

Very good subwoofer, SQ oriented. Sounds amazing.

I hear the Eclipse 9500 Titanium series is a pretty sick subwoofer.

As for Phoenix Gold, their still around making good budget amplifiers.

Also, from what I hear the RSd 12/12d woofer is a great SQL buy.

phoenix gold makes a sub that is comperable to the type r. i almost went with it over the type r's.
