What Guage?

my amp puts out about 400 watts. what is the minimum guage wire i should use from the positve and negative to the speaker terminal? and what guage should i use from the speaker terminal to the speaker?.....this is for one speaker

anywhere from 16-12 gauge wire... 14 is usually the most common.

yeah, dont think to hard on this one 14 is fine.
