Hello,

I am going to be installing the following Cadence amp:

TXA-6004

150 x 4 @ 4 Ohm

300 x 4 @ 2 Ohm

600 x 2 @ 4 Ohm

I will be using 150 x 2 @ 4 ohm and 600 x 1 @ 4 ohm (all in rms). I already purchased the Knu 4 ga amp kit. Is 4ga big enough? I will be running about 15 feet of power line and do not plan on adding another amp.

Thanks

You have to wire you speakers/amp up for either 150 x 4 @ 4 Ohm OR 600 x 2 @ 4 Ohm (you said 600 x1, guessing you meant 2). Either way that 4gauge should be sufficient enough for you

Amps can be run with 3 channels. Front stereo, rear bridged.

4 gauge is fine for your amp.

No he is useing 2 of the 4 channels for mids/highs (150 x 2 @ 4ohm) and bridgeing the other 2 channels for a sub stage (600 x 1 @ 4ohm)

Thanks for the replies!

You are right I will be bridging two of the channels for a sub stage (600 x 1 @ 4ohm). Is there anyway I can use a type R sub on this? I was under the impression I need a svc 4 ohm sub or a dvc 2 ohm sub. The type R is dvc 4ohm right??? Or am I confused? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
