yea those HUs would be awesome if you want/plan/will on going active. or if not it'll have great features for a passive setup as well. it'll give you great flexbility down the road.

The Eclipse units are good choices ... also the CD3000 if you like the look of the new units.

Pioneer DEH-P6800MP should be right around $250 or less.

Alpine CDA-9851.

Kenwood and JVC should have a ton of units in that price range.

you'll need to either go through aux. inputs or get the ipod2car adapter.

the alpine CDA-9851 is a nice unit...i think its anywhere from 200-250 dollars
