a 10 or 12 in mid-range speaker:eyebrow:

take any HT 10" driver and it will be capeable of being used as a good midbass/mid range. Most fall short in the 1000-1500Hz area though.

Partsexpress.com has a whole line that looks pretty good, forgot the company. Have 6's-10's midbass drivers cost about $120 a pop though so why not go ahead and get a pair of Extremisis mids?
